This is a single centre holiday based in a luxury self-catering town house close to the centre of the vibrant coastal fishing town of Palamos, which is famous for it’s seafood and numerous tapas bars and restaurants, all within a 3-minute walk of the house.

The surrounding area offers an undeveloped coastline, beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters, and Palamos is well-placed for exploring the surrounding area including the Gavarres, vineyards, medieval villages and the Camin de Ronda coastal paths.

The beautiful sandy beach in Palamos stretches from the fishing port all the way to Playa Torre Valentina, which is just 3 kms from the historic village of Calonge. This is a charming coastline with a series of spectacular rocky coves and breath-taking scenery.  Calonge sits in the foothills of the Gavarres mountains, and behind the village there are a number of walking paths with several vineyards worth a visit.

The accommodation comprises of lounge with balcony, 3 bedrooms (two with balconies) – 2 doubles and a twin, 3 bathrooms, a large utility room, small exterior patio, herb garden, a large fully equipped kitchen which opens to the dining room and a patio. This was a lovely holiday and the coastal walks especially glorious. Vivian and Alan gave us a warm welcome and we appreciated the welcome pack of groceries and the very comfortable and well appointed townhouse with swimming pool. We were provided with interesting, varied and sometimes challenging walks through vineyards, river valleys, the Gavarres hills and the craggy coastal paths. Be sure to take your swimming gear as the sea is hard to resist!
